looking for specific command.....

Hi...
This is my first post..:) I looked everywhere , and think I am posting in the right forum... ( if not please let me know)

I am looking for the command and or argument that lists all links to a particular file.
Is there a way to see where the links are besides comparing inode numbers? want to confirm all links are gone?
how is the best way to do that?
thanks,
Calista

try: apropos ln
and see what commands you get listed, it should show all related commands to ln (for adding sym and hard links). One of those commands might be what you need.
