looking for a replacement to DamnSamllLinux

i got a new computer and DSL no longer works well on it
id like a recommendation for a DSL like Linux
small (up to 1 CD 50-150M is preferable)
can be booted from an ISO file in the HD
preferable- extensional (like DSL is whit the "myDSL Application Extensions")
preferable- debian based
preferable- can run from mem (as in DSL toram)

Welcome to the forums!

Tiny Core Linux is the successor to DSL, I think you will like it.
Honorable mention to SliTaz and Puppy Linux.

There might be a few that could boot directly to an ISO image. Grub4dos at pendrivelinux.com has some solutions to do that. These ideas can work for a hard drive too. http://www.pendrivelinux.com/tag/multiboot-iso/
