logwatch cache files are not clearing out on RHEL 5.0 build.

There are some very large directories building up in the /var/cache/logwatch directory of an RHEL 5.0 system. These directories go back to the build date and are about 3000 blocks in size. Other log rotations are going fine at the 4 week setting in logrotate.conf.

The files in /etc/logwatch/conf all have nothing but the headers. Logwatch.conf and overide.conf have a header line and nothing else. sendmail is disabled.

Is there any way to rotate out these log files? I have been doing on-line research and have not had much luck.

Just delete them or use something like tmpwatch to clear them out on occasion.
