Logitech Mouseman thumb button

Hi all.

I've got a cordless Logitech Mouseman+, RH7.1 with XFree 4.03, running windowmaker.

My mouse works great, but the thumb button wont work.

I can configure all 5 buttons (left, middle=wheel, right, wheel up, wheel down) with xmodmap.

But when i add Buttons 6 in XF86Config, button 6 wont work as the thumb button, and when i add ZAxismapping 5 6, button 4 neither ;(

Now my question: typing xmodmap -pp shows "physical" buttons.

Which one is my thumb button? Can X use it?

thx, wAmOZ
