I changed the run-level and i couldn't boot up my Linux.
So I need to chagne the run level back.
I don't have boot-disk.
And when the start up, the Lilo prompt
"LILO boot : "
come up and then wait for a while , start booting and it failed.
So from the lilo prompt, can i log in somehow and change the run level?
How do i do that?
Ok I could login. (as root)
Now in order to boot up, I need to change the run-level 3 back. (I chagned runlevel 5 and it failed to boot).
But when I tried to changed /etc/inittab with "vim" editor, it says that I cannot edit because it's read only file!
How do do that?
thanks.

mount /dev/hdXY / -o remount,rw
Of course you can look in /etc/fstab to see what values to use for XY.
