I resently installed Mandrak 6.0 and when I try to boot to linux it takes me to a localhost Login instad of linux password login. Did I do somthing wrong on the install or is their a work around this. THANKS

That sounds normal, just type in the account you want to login as like root or any user you have created and then the password.

I did this and it still won't let me in. I did the root user and password and I tryer user name and password.

If you have Lilo installed as the loader for Linux, at the lilo prompt, type Linux 1
This should put you in single user mode without a login prompt. From there you can check your /etc/passwd file or try to change your root passwd and then test from there by rebooting and seeing if it takes your changes for root or any other user.
