Loading module and connection parameters for wi-fi at start up?

Ive got a centrino notebook, with an Intel .11b card in it. Mandriva has the ipw2100 module apparently, as I can modprobe and the card starts to work. After that I can issue the script via command line that starts up the network connection. Is there any way I can do this automatically at startup?

The magic is done by kmod and is configured by /etc/modules.conf. The whole mechanism is ably described on this web-page ...
