Question linuxconf

Hello All,

I just installed RedHat 7.2 on a new Compaq server, selecting the Server option for installation and adding the NFS and Samba packages included with the RH distro.

My nics were acting up, so I tried to run linuxconf, but it wasn't there. I tried '/sbin/linuxconf' to start the program as well as just 'linuxconf' but no go. I logged off, made sure I was logged in as root, and even checked /sbin, however, no linux conf.

I am a bit confused, as I thought linuxconf was always in /sbin, but it is not there.

Any ideas/info would help!

they stopped using linuxconf after 7.0.. its unstable, buggy and never reliable. but its usually still on the cd's, you should be able to install it from there. they just don't add it in during the install ever anymore.
