Linux/Windows Dual Boot

Currently I have a dual boot on my hard drive (1) using windows XP and linux fedora core 3. When I installed linux, I used the default boot loader. I recently got another box that I want to use to put fedora on. This means I want to take fedora off my current hard drive with out messing up my windows partition and messing up the boot. I am afraid that if I just format the partition that fedora is on I will not be able to boot into my windows partition.

Any Ideas

Thanks

-Paul

Format the linux partition as normal and then run fixdisk /mbr from windows commandline if you installed the bootloader to the mbr. If you put it on the / partition, the format would erase it (no need for fixdisk /mbr)

Once the bootloader is gone, windows will boot up like it did before you installed linux
