Hi
Squid is a HTTP proxy server, ie for web access and doens't support proxying email protocols.

You'll need to setup something like iptables or ipchains to either forward or masquerade your clients.

I'm working on it myself at the moment.... here's what I'm using as guides:

http://www.linux.org/docs/ldp/howto/...WTO/index.html

http://www.linux.org/docs/ldp/howto/...WTO/index.html

http://www.linux.org/docs/ldp/howto/IPCHAINS-HOWTO.html

And this I found in "The Linux Intranet Server HOWTO".... It might have some usefull info for you about e-mail and what not.

good luck
