Linux RAID via Disk Druid and dual booting WinXP?

Currently I have a silicon images 3112 raid controller but am interested in installing linux again. Since apparently red hat 9 does not work with my raid array I am downloading fedora RC4.

Question: Can I create a raid0 array with linux and then partition a piece of that array off for windows XP (instead of using my adapters raid0)? I heard that linux's raid0 is overall faster than my adapters raid0. I would think the answer no since windows will try to read each disk independently and not see any arrangement.
