Linux printer server

I have a lan with debian sarge 3.1 kernel 2.6 machines,on the gateway i have a epson printer that i want to make accessible by any other machine in my lan,i would like to send from a different lan's host a lpr command and print a document by the prinetr on the gateway host,if u can help me please even for the iptables thing,thanx!

Hi,
I used cups, set the printer with its own IP and Netmask and in cups set the printer using Device URI: socket://XXX.XX.X.XXX .
If you are using a firewall open up the port local only.
