Linux on two partitions

I have 3 partitions on one drive.

I have installed RH 7.3 on the first. Works great. I now need to install RH 7.3 again (but slimmed down) on the second partition, so I can make a bootable image of that Linux install for router use.

What is the easiest way to install RH 7.3 again on that 2nd partition and have them both accessable via GRUB so I can dual boot?

Have you tried installing it? I am thinking that if you do it will ask which partition, to install and then the LILO/Grub would be installed on the MBR overwriting the older one with the new one which would offer both. If LILO does not see the first one, then you can just configure it from your new install.
