Linux Newbie Question

I plan to set up an Apache Web server for my 3 domains. my question is: in order to use virtual hosts to set up all 3 of these domains on one ip address, do i need to set up my own DNS or do i simply need to have the place i registered my domain names point all 3 domains to the one IP address.

i have been unable to get this question answered for some time now. any help would be wonderful.

you just need to have the dns servers (anyones....) point at the ipaddress apache is on. You can test your server by setting the names up in your host file and http to them with your browser.
