I'd suggest run nessus against your machine it can leak some information about ssl, mysql, etc. Did you setup MySQL while installing Pure Secure? If so, make sure MySQL is password protected - set use password to YES - something along these lines, unfortunately I can't tell you more, I am behind slack without PureSecure/MySQL/Apache installed - I am at work and I am protected by my work firewall.
Hey MasterC! I'd like to ask if the link to the iso will be up for the next few days? That's because, well I already downloaded 300MB but restarted, 'cause the time it would take me to download the iso was 48 hours and I had to use GetRight because I didn't know any tool like that for Linux. But when I found out that there was WebDownloader for X I had already downloaded 200MB. But I still chose to restart 'cause after using Linux for awhile I understood that I don't have what to do in Winbloze
Yep, I set it up so that even when me wife reboot my computer into winbloze, that there is an ftp server on there with route66.iso in the same spot, so as long as you are using one of those programs that "auto" resume, or persistant, or whatever you want to call it, then it will only go down for like 30 seconds until whatever OS boots up.
I *thought* I burned a copy of the iso to bring to work, but in fact burned the image to the disc. I can host that I guess, but it's not an iso, just the files that are on the disc.
If you want me to host that on this T3, let me know, it's not a problem. In fact, I will anyway just so you can have the option. Give me a few minutes, I will post back with the address for it from here. That way you can still get the iso from my computer if you want it, and get the files to burn from here, and both servers will stay up.
Ok, got it going, I will keep this one up tonight, tomorrow, and tomorrow night, but Sunday morning (GMT -8) I will have to take it down so the tech junkies don't get mad.
This is a straight copy of the disc, I didn't create any files or folders in the / directory, so you can just grab everything. Should come out to ~605MB when it's all said and done.
Cool
**update, this particular ftp://198... will probably not ever be up again, just thought I'd let you know so you didn't keep trying if you were **
