We successfully used a machine- a 486SX33 16Mb ram to surf the web and send email. Even used it as a remote station to edit pictures using the GIMP over a broadband link. Not exactly fast, but can be done. Takes 10-15 seconds to render news.bbc.co.uk.

I normally don't "chime in" on things like this, but man I looked at fakie_flips posts and he is totally filling up the forums with this exact same question.
I think that if fakie_flip spent his time working on linux instead of posting in these forums he would have answered his own questions long ago...

As a moderator, can't you just close these threads as you come up? Or is it part of the rules that you have to issue a warning first?
