linux live cd for bank transfers


hi
can anyone tell me the best (for security) linux live cd , for doing my web transfers with the most security?
thnks

Knoppix would be easy and safe, as long as you don't store any data on your harddrive any distro would do, though.

As long as you are using secure websites (internet banking, for instance) the most important thing for you is your service supplier's level of security, and deleting/wiping all temporary files when you log off and reboot. Most if not all live cd's support this feature, if you have enough RAM you can ignore your local disks all together, and avoid the security risk of a swap file.

For normal internet use, Knoppix should do the trick for you, as well as being easy to use.

Not sure what you mean by web transfers though, assume internet banking or file transfers?
