Linux jobs in Texas

Hey guys,

The company i work for(leading managed hosting company) is looking for Linux techies. We need level 1 and level 3 techs. The company is located in San Antonio, TX (which is where i live as well). Full-time, permanent, and paid relocation. Drop me a line if you are interested and i'll get you an interview.

Have a good weekend!

You know, maybe we should have an organized "job posting" forum set up strictly for this purpose. This posting really isn't all that unreasonable .. if you're looking for a techie, this is a pretty darned good place to drop a hook into the water. Maybe we should devise a specific place for that, and allow it within that designated area. To me, it's not quite "advertising." (Hmmm, are they open to "telecommuting?")

My vote would be... howzabout setting up a forum for a while, and see what happens? Worst case would be that it doesn't, and you have to remove it, but maybe it would be well-received as long as it didn't simply become a haven for lazy recruiters. I'm not a moderator of course, but maybe it's an idea that ought to be bounced around a little bit?

Welcome to the slippery slope.

Want Ad #1: Linux gurus
Want Ad #2: sysadmins
Want Ad #3: tech support
Want Ad #4: customer service reps
Want Ad #5: "Work from home and earn $1000's/month!!!!!!"

The problem basically comes down to the fact that job postings are a form of advertising. Anyone who is interested in advertising on LQ should contact LQ via the 'advertise at LQ' link. This topic has been discussed at length in WS&F

Yeah, he's right. Jeremy has looked into setting up a job ads section, but found that to do it in a way he wanted, there were a number of legal pitfalls and lots of money to lay out and it was unworkable.

This is closed, by the way
