@ raju.mopidevi : Using / building ns2 in Fedora :
Not at all a problem. Has been done lots of times.
And by the way :
Your method, building as root in /opt is a no no.
The recommended location is /home/"username"/
.. example : /home/"username"/ns2/ns-allinone-2.xx/

@ ajkannan83 : Please tell, which version, used.
Is it still ns-allinone-2.29 ?
+ the mannasim patch ? ?

And please rephrase your question. The meaning it not quite clear.
May be tell, what you did so far, like ./install, ./validate. etc.

Install information is here
http://nsnam.isi.edu/nsnam/index.php/User_Information

Automatically : Please define automatically.
Only basic software is installed at OS install,
+ the groups of packages you select.

Installing more packages after the OS install :
All those are to be installed with # yum,
from the repositories.
Which contain say 15,000 packages.

The other 50,000 very specialized pieces of software,
like ns2 : Are still to be installed manually until you
or somebody else make up an rpm package. Which can then
be installed with : # rpm -UVh <package>.
Or # yum localinstall <package>.

People use all the different special versions of ns2,
which version do you want ?
