i have tried to install multiple distros of linux (not at the same time) with no luck, I love linux but it hates me. I could get mandrake installed for about a week before it would stop booting. I went to redhat 8.0 and when I installed it asked for disk 2, so i gave it disk 2 but it never could get the xfree fonts so i was forced to stop install, so I downloaded disk 2 from a different server and now disk one won't format the hdd right. I have a 13 gig and it says not enough room. I am downloading the first disk now, just let me know if anyone has these problems.
computer works great in 98, and no hardware truble there, linux sees my video, my hdd, and all but i think it is not compatible with the two different cdroms drives I tried, I am trying it right now so cross your fingers! I am trying with redhat8.0 and mandrake 8.2
