Linux in Mexico City?

I wonder if anyone can help me with a question. Sometime I read in an article about Mexico City. The article said that Mexico City had implemented Linux instead of Windows/Microsoft products. Is that true? And if it is, where can I read about it?

You are right, Mexico has been using Linux for a while. Just that i don't know where you can get some info about it, but i will try to notice you if i get some.

I read an article about a week ago, though I don't remember where. It basically said that Mexico had decided to put linux in public schools instead of MS to save money some time ago but, it was too time consuming because they didn't have enough tech's to go around to all the remote little towns to install it. So now the plan is something like, keep installing linux in the schools but they'll also be seing some MS too, so that they can save time.
