Angry Linux hangs after fresh install (rh9/md9.1) on dual boot

Ok, here's my problem(s).....
I did fresh installs on hdc with both rh9 and md9.1 and using the bootloader of GRUB on hda. Windows boots from GRUB and runs fine but, i cant even boot into linux (either distro). It starts to boot normally (same with boot diskette) and it hangs with just a flashing curser and the hd light stays solid (no blinking at all) and no responce from anything on keyboard, I dont know how to deal with whats left on the screen so I wrote it all down, here it is...
