Linux friendly domain name hosting - suggestions?
 

Hi guys,

I'm looking to register a domain name and set up a website but would like to get people's feedback. Ideally I'd like my business to go to someone who sponsors LQ - perhaps the same people who host the LQ domain? - and if one of the mods has a suggestion that'd be gold. However any suggestions would be most welcome. I am savvy enough to distinguish advertisements from suggestions whoever. :D

I'm not in the UK but you'll probably find that most Hosting Providers are using Linux themselves. If this is going to end up being a larger type business website, you'll probably want to start looking locally for providers just for better convenience.

I was just wondering since I was going to be investing some money where the best place to put it was and if in the process generate some money for this site then all the better. Will investigate further.
