Linux Free Dial Up Access ???
have broadband cable modem internet access. I just installed a fax modem. I have a dial up acount with NetZero. I downloaded a driver for the modem and configured KPPP to use it. The modem does dial out > but never get to the point to logon to NetZero. Internet Explorer is their default browser. I use Mozilla in Linux.
Does any one know if NetZero will work with Linux dial-up? If not are there any other free dial up ISP's that will work with Linux? I know this will work with Earthlink but I'm not going to pay for dial up access since I have Powerlink. This dial up is basically a backup > sending faxes and just to see if I can do this with Linux. If NetZero does work > does anyne know the configuration parameters that are needed? __________________ |

You might wanna actually contact NetZero, I'm sure that you aren't the only one that has tried with Linux, so they might have either a blanket NO answer, or something for you to try.
Another option might be to do some emulating, it would at least save you from having to reboot into winbloze... Cool |
