I've been trying to watch, http://www.ctv.ca/video, for some time now, but i get a message to download the latest version of flash.
I currently have the linux version of flash 11.2.202.332, there is no other "latest" version.
Is anyone else having the same issue? can anyone view videos on that site? Under Linux, Linux's flash player.
Sorry, the video you have
selected is not available for
viewing outside of Canada.
i have the same version of the adobe flash plugin.
be sure there's no other flash plugins installed.

It seems to want to let me watch It's A Wonderful Life but I just get a black box (other video I get the "not available outside of Canada message). I tried it with both Chromium with both 11.2.202.332 and the 12.0.0.38 that's in Google Chrome and got the same result. I even installed hal in case it was required (I understand it is for some commercial sites) to no avail.

I just tried it under Windows XP in a VM and got a black box also so now I'm puzzled. Have you tried Google Chrome under Linux? I might just be hitting the region detection problem with taht but not seeing the message for whatever reason.
I have a Gaming PC 8 Core amd hehehe, windoze 7, and yeah that site works just fine under Windoze (Native).
Yes I have tried Chrome under Linux, no change same message.
Could it be a bloody script issue, on their side? mmmm it really p*sses me off thou!!
