Linux driver for Epson printer
I have a Epsom XP-430 printer that worked fine in ubuntu 15.10 but I cannot get it to work since I upgraded to ubuntu 16.04. None of the linux drivers I tried from Epson's website will work with the printer now.

JDWheel,
A similar tale of woe for other users of 16.04 and Epson printers: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2321604&page=3 There is a workaround apparently. See post #34 on here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+s...b/+bug/1536353 Instead of vi you can use nano in Terminal: You may need to install it first. Code:
sudo apt-get install nano Code:
sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list |
Pr0blem solved with sudo apt-get install printer-driver-escpr thanks for the help.

hm,interesting problem and it's solution. Once I wanted to buy a new printer for my mother, who works in the office. I had not so much money but still wanted to buy a practical and quality printer. My friend gave me the advice to look over this website www.mrdepot.ca where I could find a bunch of office supplies. These guys offer high-quality printers and cartridges for a good price and with free delivery. On their website, u can find all printers from big companies. My mum was absolutely pleased with the printer that I bought her! If u want, u can check this site for more info, bro! I wish u good luck!
