Hello, I've been subscribed to the linux.com news feed for about a year now and now (not com not org), my computer can't access it. Interestingly enough, my firefox browser can't access the site either (403).
Is this on my end (nasty isp, hiccup, server out for maintenance), or do you also encounter this problem?

Working fine for me.

Able to ping domain and reply is good, It says "Hello from the other side".

403 is forbidden.
Send email webteam@linux.com and explain the situation.
Visit whatismyip.com or use and be sure to include your IP.

Actually, I was a little embarrassed for not thinking of it myself. I go to a verity of places to get internet, not having a permanent connection at home or work, often times the dns stinks and the computers are set up not to allow out going dns connections to any other dns server (this is particularly prevalent in or wonderful American libraries (I have complained)), as a result, I entered the host addresses into my /etc/hosts file for about 20 servers that I like to contact. The said record went stale (which is a first for my list), and so I just needed to get fresh dns records for the domain.

Aside from fixing my own problem, since that's not a huge deal, what did I do to deserve your praise?
