Linux Box crashes with no trace in syslog

Hi All,

i have a box running RedHat 7.2 running 2.4.7-10smp kernel. Linux keeps crashing when i ran some load test on a process i wrote. Problem is that i added trace in my program in the HW device's log... no indication whatsoever of a problem...Linux syslog doesnt yield any info either...

Any ideas? any way to make the syslog more verbose?

I usually go for a "catchall" syslog line: "*.* /path/to/somelog". If that's not enough and you're not able to run it verbosely tru strace then maybe you could try LTT.
