"Linux Bible"

I found a book called "Linux Bible" by Christopher Negus. It seemed very comprehensive and included many OSes.

I am interested in trying out various Linux distros before setting up a network and website.

1. Is this a good reference book?
2. Where could I find comparisons between and reviews of good Linux references?

You could also try "Rute Users Exposition and Tutorial".

A good on-line resource is Fultus Elibrary (http://elibrary.fultus.com/technical...sd/index.html).

As far as reviews of distros, you could try distrowatch.com. They list known distros. I don't remember if they do reviews, but you may find links to other sources for such reviews.
