Linux basic for hackers paper back book

Hi there
I have seen the book for sale
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Linux-Basic.../dp/B077WWRK8B

Basically What I would like to know is there info in the book that would explain the focus on how one could gain access to someone ells'es account on a forum similar to a site like this?

Thanks

Per the rules

I personally do not know but asking questions of this nature is against the rules.

well the book dose say This practical, tutorial-style book uses the Kali Linux distribution to teach Linux basics with a focus on how hackers would use them, so I have changed my wording in my OP

I hope that it is now an exceptable question?

We don't mind teaching you how to be constructive while using linux. Most members on LQ might know how to hack but it is not a subject we wish to teach. The site is Linux Questions. Might be a Hack Questions web site out there.??

:)

I think the best way to find out what's in that, or any, book is to read it.

From the book's description:
Quote:

Topics include Linux command line basics, filesystems, networking, BASH basics, package management, logging, and the Linux kernel and drivers.
I conclude the answer to your question is "no".

And then the reader will find out if the book is about hacking or cracking.

Only you know it.
But remember, if you want to crack/hack you need to be better than the ones who maintain the given host. So better to learn a lot. Otherwise you will have no any chance.

No, the title is somewhat deceptive. But it is a good book to learn your way with Linux

Get a good systems administration handbook, & learn the Linux infrastructure, once you know how to protect a system from hackers & crackers, you may change your mind about your original idea. :study:

So why do you want to read about Linux, after you repeatedly continue to say it's not good, too complicated, etc., etc., and flat-out say you're NOT interested in learning or reading anything???

Yet you keep posting about Linux?? And if you have trouble with Mint, ANYTHING to do with Kali is going to be way too complicated for you. And unless you want to seriously learn security and pentesting, what's the point? And if you're watching and believing conspiracy theory videos from some nut, and think the 'mods' have locked you out of dark-net forums...I don't think there's much we can do to help you.
