Unhappy Linux -> Audio


Hello !

I have one problem...
I've installed SUSE 9 and everithing is working ok, but i want to hear, for expample, ICQ incoming message sound while I in same time listen MP3...

but when i listen MP3 (XMMS) i can't hear any other sounds
Same was in RedHat 9

Help please...

Sound card is Crative Labs PCI 128

Any ideas?


P.S. Sorry on my bad english...

Use a sound server, like eSound, and configure your apps to output sounds through it. Search these forums for more information.
