Linux and WinFS

Hi

Anyone thought about how Linux will be able to read the WINFS file system on M$ new OS coming out soon? I hope we will be able to read and write to this file system as it is like a relational database I read.

Regards
Shelton.

As far as I know WinFS is just NTFS whit some kind of database-thingy on top of it.

So that could mean that the current NTFS software will still work(or whit some modifications).

But that's just a guess.. don't know much about it really

Correct, WinFS is no longer planned to be included with Longhorn. Of course they have other things to worry about. People think that KDE and Windows XP are bloated but take a look at that new (DirectX 9+ Card Required) 3D interface.
