Linux & Windows partitions label were deleted

Hi guys,

i have windows and linux RH on my hardisk, i boot from the RedHat CD and in the partition option, i chosed to delet all partitions on the hardisk by mistake.

the windows and linux partitions become a free space, i didnt formate the partitions.

i think that just the filesystem label was deleted.

how can i fix this problem and be able to enter my linux and windows OS.

Sorry for my bad english.

You will need to repair the partition table not just the volume labels. If gpart is not on the Fedora CD you can download knoppix. Hopefully that will fix your system.
There are many partition table recovery tools if gpart fails.

the partition table i fixed it with fsck, run it from knoppix, but the volume lable ( mounted point) would not set back.

You can use either tune2fs or e2label to relabel the partitions.
