Linux and Microsoft network adapter


I have a microsoft network adapter that requires using a microsoft cd to install. would there be a problem if i needed to install this when im running linuix. the adpater is " 10/100 miscrosoft usb ethernet adapter" model mn-110

Please help

If your Linux can't auto-detect your network adapter, you can go to manufacturer's website to download the newest driver of your device for Linux

Umm, thats assuming that they even produce a linux driver.. and I highly doubt microsoft does.
