Linux: A European threat to our computers?

I found this article this morning and thought I'd share it with fellow Linux users:

http://shelleytherepublican.com/2006...y-tristan.aspx

By "our computers", they mean "Microsoft products which are pre-installed on those new PCs made in The United States."

I live in The United States and I use both Windows [10% of the time] & Linux [90% of the time], but I don't feel Linux is a threat. On the other hand, Linux actually helped me learn more about computers. A whole lot more than freaking Microsuck Windows!

Those kinds of articles are worthless , and useless .
It will never change peoples mind.
Because most people never really listen to arguments , they make up their mind and it will never change.

That blog entry is nearly three years old and gets linked somewhere in regular intervals. There are lots of crazy blogs out there. This just happens to have an entry about Linux.

I guess this one is popular because it's hard to decide whether it's a parody or not.

That site is acknowledged to be a spoof (satire). As I recall, it says so somewhere in the fine print.

There is another thread underway on the General forum right now about this particular site (shelleytherepublican.com).
