lilo -v Fatal: Unable to open /dev/md10

After using Redhat's up2date to get a sendmail patch, and new kernel, I cannot write the lilo configuration.

[dstraka@mail1 dstraka]$ /sbin/lilo -v
LILO version 21.4-4, Copyright (C) 1992-1998 Werner Almesberger
'lba32' extensions Copyright (C) 1999,2000 John Coffman
Fatal: Unable to open /dev/md10

Anyone have this happen to them?
RH 7.2, Compaq DL360, Raid 5

Thanks
