Lilo then BLANK! (Slackware 10.2)

Okay, so I got Slack installed, and I got Lilo installed.

My problem is that when Lilo comes up and asks for boot, I type Linux (being my only option). After that...the screen clears and nothing happens.

Now, I know that I can boot, when I use my bootdisk, which I made during install, I can load up and get on Slack, get KDE running, etc...

edit your lilo.conf file
change the vga= option to say vga=normal

you can do this by booting with slack CD1
1. mkdir hd
2. mount /dev/hda# /hd (mount your root partition)
3. chroot hd/
4. cd /
5. vi /etc/lilo.conf
make your changes and save
6. lilo
