lilo question


Hi

How do you change the tux image which apears in lilo to something else.

You have to edit lilo.conf.

Can you give me more details.Like how to create your own image.In which format are you supposed to save it?

kernal, can you try an be a bit more... useful if you are going to answers posts, thanks.

changing the logo is a total git. the easiest (hell, only) way i know of is to use a gimp plugin which can create a header file (i think) that represents the framebufer logo, and then recompile your kernel with that file inplace of the original one, not that i can remember which one it is. have a search for the plugin, it's a bit old but i think it works.

this is the tux image that's in the FRAMEBUFFER and NOT lilo yes? f i'm right.. you DON'T have to edit lilo.conf anyway...
