lilo problems
Hey guys,
I just recompiled my kernel and everything went fine. I changed my lilo.conf so that I could boot to the new image. I went to reboot and it seems as though lilo is still using a previous version of lilo.conf because my option for the new image isn't showing up. I also changed the default labels on the other partition and other image that I boot to. I installed lilo to the MBR but I don't know if that makes a difference or not. thanks a lot

Did you run /sbin/lilo after editing? You have to do that to update lilo.

Run /sbin/lilo -v
The "-v" will cause lilo to echo any errors back to the console.

try posting a chunk of the lilo.conf
also do 'uname -a' and see which version you booted into, its possible the lilo options are different but the old name is still there
