LILO problem

I had my hard drive partitoned for linux and windows, and it was all fine, but i decided since i couldn't get on the internet in linux i wanted to uninstall it. So i had used partition magic to make the partitions and so i figured if i deleted the partiton that everything would go back to the way it was, no thats not what happend. LILO was still there and all that displayed was LI. So i went back into the linux install and deleted the partitions that way. When i restarted my computer LILO was still there, but linux wasn't. So for a time i just typed in windows and it loaded windows. Now here's the problem....Yesterday i defragmented my hard drive and when i turned my computer on again this morning all that came up was LI, i don't know what to do, it worked before with linux not on there, why isn't it working now?

For Win9x, you can erase LILO by typing (in DOS) fdisk /mbr.
You may have to do some other things for XP.

Lilo is still in your MBR.

You can use your windowsXP CD.
There is an option called System Recovery or System Repair...
I can't remember.

Or like aaa mentioned, use a boot disk and at the prompt, type fdisk /mbr

I have win2k so you don't have the option to load dos, i don't think i may be wrong, i probably just need to search for a boot disc.
