Lilo boot order

I am dual booting Windows98 with SuSe 7.1 and would like to change the boot order in Lilo. SuSe is the default choice - I would like to change this to Win98.

I found and edited the file /etc/lilo.conf but the boot order was not affected. Did I do something wrong? Did I misunderstand the instructions for this?

Everytime you make changes to the lilo.conf, you need to run it at the command

/sbin/lilo

That should work for you!

Dual boot with Win 2K

I dual boot Win2k and Mandrake 9.1. After I update lilo.conf and ran lilo, the system say that the pcurrent partition does not support the change and did not update. Any thought? I don't have the exact message handy at this moment.

Thanks
