Question libIDL

I cannot, for the life of me, find either an rpm or tarball for mandrake 9 libIDL. I have libIDL2 installed but need version one to install mozilla. Has anyone come across it?

libIDL_0-devel-0.8.0-1mdk.i586 RPM

I find lots of other ones but not this specific arch etc. I Only found scr.rpm versions of it and I wasn't able to install it.. there was no "make" or make install when I tried to run them.
Thanks in advance!

My educated guess is that Mandy 9 uses Gnome2?
libIDL is part of orbit0.5.7, which again is used in gnome1.x...

You can try to download the source from
ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/gnome/sources/ORBit/0.5
and compile that up ....

I hope the mixing of Gnome 1 and 2 won't make
too much of a mess...

Cheers,
Tink

Thanks Tink & Mike I downloaded the source from the site you gave me Tink, but when I tried to compile it I got this:

Making all in libIDL
make[2]: Entering directory `/root/ORBit-0.5.7/libIDL'
yacc -d -v 2>/dev/null ./parser.y
make[2]: *** [stamp-parser] Error 127
make[2]: Leaving directory `/root/ORBit-0.5.7/libIDL'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/ORBit-0.5.7'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2

What am I doing wrong? Thanks again.
