Learning Linux.

I have this problem, each time i install Linux Fully to install and learn it, i get this urge to go back to Windows :(

i want to learn my CCNA and linux so i can get to touch a bit more of servers and networking.

Thanks if you have tips to stop this disease!!

Well you could make a ftp server and maintain it which would keep you with linux. If you have the resources you could try to find a second box. Whenever a friend or someone is getting a new computer see what they are doing with the old one. Most often people throw them away and you can then run a linux server on one box and a windows linux dual boot on the other. You will be forced to use linux on the server and you have a choice for OS on the other. Hopefully it will go away over time.

Don't quite get this thread but whatever, I'm in a good mood today so...

What specifically keeps you going back to MS? What specific functionality are you missing in Linux that you need in MS? Make a list of these things and post them so people can point you to the right areas. For example: You absolutely love Picassa, can't live without it so you go back to MS. Solution: Install digiKam or Gqview or ImageMagik.

So give some specifics... unless you're just padding your postcount.

I used to be the same, got Starcraft under wine, windows annoyed me 1last time and now im linux all da time. if u keep getting the urge, but have no major need to, then just format the windows partition.

i ave to go back to 2k (on a seperate 12gig hd) every month or so to update music on mp3 player tho. :( i hate it when i do tho, its just not the same

What sort of player do you have that required you to use windows?

The new sony walkman NW-A3000, needs sonicstage or connect, but as connect is possibly the worst software every i stick with sonicstage. But after posting my previous comment last night i checked winehq and it appears that sonicstage is now starting to work under wine. So i mite give it a go
