LDAP synchronization
 

Hi,

I have a LDAP server with some user information.

I have another LDAP server where I want to maintain a copy of the user information. So whenever I add a user in the main server the user should appear/replicate in the second server and vice versa.

Is there any available tools for such synchronizations? (slurpd, syncrepl)
Witch is the best and where can i find some instruction on how to configure implement the right solution?
Whats the best choice and how are the performances?

Did you found any thing on this matter? I tried using samba 3 by example chapter 6 but ran in to some problems.

1. does not replicate
2. Cant create users only modify it says the user ID is in use

Most probably it must be some thing that I am doing but I can seems to trace it
