Latin codification, impossible mission?
 

Hi all!!!

I'm spanish and i have installed RH9 but i cannot see the latin caracters like "ñ" or "á" or this kind of stuff on the console. This is very annoying because i don't see these words in BitchX (for example) and you have to figure out what the word is.

I have compiled the kernel with Default NLS Option to iso8859-1, iso8859-15 and cp850 and none of the three worked, and of course i have support for iso8859-15. The kernel compiled is 2.4.21.

I also have runned the redhat configuration and the keybord layout is spanish and i set my country to spain, but the problem is still there.

Please i need some help!
