I'm having a problem with FC5 and the above configuration. I use Fn F5 to send the display out the S-video port, however mplayer which is playing before I send it, shows up as a blue screen on the TV.

Anyone know how to configure it so that it plays properly and the video playing can be viewed on the TV? I can see the rest of the desktop fine. Though my mouse cursor seems to disappear as well.

I've also noticed that after flipping back and forth between the two displays using the above method 2 or 3 times, linux locks up. There is kind of a garbage bar at the top of the screen and the system is frozen (can't bring up a terminal, requires a hard power off)

You need to use the video output -vo x11 on the command line or if using the gui go into the setup and change the video output to X11.
