ksymoops log filling disk to 100%

This morning I noticed that nothing was working correctly in Linux because, apparently, the disk was full. I knew this couldn't be right, so I did some searching with 'du' and found that /var/log/ksymoops held 4.7 Gig of log messages. These were logs over the course of 3 or 4 days. They look like this:

20040625080858.modules 20040625231040.modules 20040625235320.modules
20040625080859.ksyms 20040625231041.ksyms 20040625235321.ksyms

The contents of one of the modules logs look like this:

Anyways, the logs haven't stopped. they are still coming and filling up my disk. Does anyone have any ideawhy these would happen and how I can stop them. There are so many of them that if I try to 'rm *' it says the argument list is too long. The only thing I can think of that might have caused this was me trying to get my sound card working by recompiling some modules. Any help would be appreciated.
