kppp connection problems

Hi! I am trying to log on to my ISP using KDE's kppp. It dials and connects but disconnects right away. I added the line:
daemon.* /tmp/ppp-log to the /etc/syslog.conf file. The print out is telling me:
Peer is not authorized to use the remote address
Connection terminated
Connect time 0.2 minutes

Is there anything I can do to fix this?
