Question Konqueror Background

Is There any way to make konqueror have a transparent background?
I've tried creating images that are completely transparent (.xpm, .png, .gif) and setting them as the background, but the transparent parts of the files are turned into a solid color (black or gray)
Is there a way around this?
If I remember correctly, I remember reading something about it before, but it said that konqueror can't be transparent.
Is this correct?

If so, is there a different file manager that can withhold transparent background?

Thanks in advance.
