Kmix, docked at startup ?

Hello,

My problem is as follow :
If I launch kmix as root, it will dock and not popup.
If I launch kmix as a normal user, it will dock, but also popup in the desktop.

Since I decided to launch kmix at kde's startup, I have to close it everytime I come into kde.
Any command line argument or anything to make kmix just dock at bootup and not show in the desktop ?

Thanks

Thank but that's not what Id like to do. I like to make my apps start using the autostart feature. And I'm wondering why kmix is behaving differently if you're root or someone else.

the reason is because you have kde saving the desktop settings on logout and that it is to start kmix on login. it will first start the kmix that is suppose to be started at login and then run the desktop "memory" and start kmix again. if you stop the memory from starting kmix then you should be fine. maybe you have to, when logging out, not choose the "save desktop settings" on logout. if that doesn't work than i don't know. i havent used kde for over a year now.
